Chroche Latel Pastalie (Max Factory)

chroche

Next on the review we have this pretty looking figure of “Chroche Latel Pastalie” from Ar Tonelico II by Max Factory ^^

chroche

This 1/8 scale figure, standing at 23cm, was released back in Febuary 2009 and is the 2nd to be released from the series by Max Factory. I still haven’t gotten Luca Truelywaath yet, maybe next time ^^;

Chroche is one of the main heroine from the game. You can view the OP below:

Just looking at her, you know that she’s kind of the Tsundere type of character ^^;

Another great release from Max Factory. Really nice sculpt and paint job on this one. Her design is based on the following illustration:

I really love how she has that kind of “All High and Mighty” atmosphere on her. This is one of those figures where I just choose to get from 1st look, without even knowing the character ^^;

chroche

No extra accessories given, so she’s quite a simple figure. She only come with a normal plain base stand with her symbol on it. The only let down is of course her pose. I’m not saying that the pose is bad, just that she only looks good on a certain angle, plus her hair also put up quite a weight.

Overall she’s still worth getting if you ever get the chance ^^

On with the shots~

    Awsome figure and gret fotos, i like the pose. And very nice job of max factory, looks like the ilustration. ๐Ÿ˜€

    I really like that first shot, with the photoshop effects ๐Ÿ™‚

    You’re right, the original art of her very clearly shows how highly she thinks of herself. I think it didn’t pass through to the figure, it’s not the pose as much as it’s the eyes. It’s hard to sculpt and paint expression, and in the figure she looks more like an “Oh my…” sort of girl, heh.

    Also, not crazy about how the end of the hair, it just hangs there like fat globules…

    But good review ๐Ÿ™‚

    Wait, I have a question- how are the figures still in the box for the first pics? XD You can’t honestly be telling me you’ve kept them in there that long!!

    Another great review by the way! I passed up on her mainly because I didn’t know much about her character, but she looks very pretty nonetheless, and her expression is breath taking

      I always took all the box pics when I received the item for the first time, before opening it ^^

    Apart from the hair that are too compact, it is very beautiful. Thank you for this review.
