Next on our endless reviews we have this cool looking figure of “Hatsune Miku” from the Vocaloid series by Good Smile Company ^^
This 1/8 scale figure was first released back in September 2008 and since then have received a number of re-releases because of the popularity and high demand for it. The one I owned is the first release ^^;
The figure is standing at 18cm and most likely the most popular Hatsune Miku figure out there. Some factors that contribute to the popularity is not only the quality of the figure, but also the cheap price that comes with it. The figure also received an Alternate version which comes in the form of “Hatsune Miku CM Ver.” which was Wonder Festival 2009 Summer exclusive.
You can view the CM Ver. below:
The paint quality is definitely great on this one. I personally like the glossy look on her boots and sleaves. Pose wise is just your typical Hatsune Miku trademark, so nothing exceptional there. No extra accessories given, just a see-through custom base stand with “Hatsune Miku” printed on it.
Additionally, the figure also comes with a cast off-able feature for her skirt:
Overall, she’s definitely a must get for any Hatsune Miku fans. One thing that you need to keep in mind is that you need to act fast if you see one available ^^;
On with the shots~
(Right Click on Images, and choose “Open Image” for higher resolutions)
Close up~
Love the boots~
No skirt on~
Quite a number of Hardcore fans compained that the Pantsu isn’t striped ^^;
Lastly with some Photoshop effects~
That ends my review on Miku ^^
You can also visit Foo-Bar-Baz for more great reviews of her.
Look forward to next one~ ( ^ _ ^ )

Hmmm, this one’s nice, but I like the upcoming one from Max Factory better. You know, the one with taffy green hair. lol

Beautiful. I think Miku hair was a bit too long tho… it shouldn’t be over the knee length if i recall correctly.

It’s nearly impossible to find this one nowadays. =3=
Honestly I’ll say that Max Factory’s version is better.

I like Miku in White pantsu, but have seen some stripped pantsu custom versions that looks very good.

Very cool shoot. I regret not getting her on the re-rerelease:(

I actually prefer this one over the Max Factory version that’s coming out.
Need to get ahold of this one!
