Like BRS’s original releases, there’s just not enough in the original character design to make this interesting.
Moreover, they chose such a static pose for her… they should’ve taken a note from BRS anime version, that practically screams movement and motion.

I agree with you on the character… DM is relatively simple in design, but I think GSC sculpted her in a way that really puts her in a good light(evil…. but good light 😛 )
However- you have to remember that the BRS original version wasn’t very dynamic either. This DM ver was made to look great standing next to the original BRS. If the figure was too dynamic, it’d make BRS look boring next to her. But the two, when placed side by side, will now compliment eachother- instead of fighting for the spotlight.
Nonetheless, this figure is strong enough to stand on its own- and doesn’t need BRS by its side(the same goes for the original BRS). Fantastic base & sculpt. I do infact love the pose, it showcases DM’s confident & evil nature, and her lovely long legs. The base, I don’t need to say much- It’s stunning, especially when a giant bone scythe is lodged into it. GSC did a great job with this!

Those knees pointing inwards is the opposite of confident and stable, and is just an anime meme gone berserk.

Want a dynamic pose from BRS anime version? rest assure, they are saving it for DM anime version.

I totally agree. High chances of DM anime version.

Yes, and this is slightly annoying. They’re releasing lesser things first so people will get them… and then they release better things to get those who purchased before to buy as well as those who held out for better models.
IMO, they should release just the good stuff, y’know? Maybe we’ll have less delays that way too 😉

didnt they already release an awesome prototype for the anime ver. of Dead MAster? “http://img229.imageshack.us/img229/8018/82284636.jpg” (at least i thought it was awesome but then again i thought this one was awesome and not many people seemed impressed)

I dislike “No need to think”, as a sentiment. Always think, always mull it over! 🙂

Yowza, was not expecting such a low pant-line. Those pants are clinging on her hips for dear life, LOL.
November can’t come fast enough.

That base is amazing. I love it when manufacturers actually make them interesting.

hm, I really love it but something feels strange. regardless I’ll probably get this one to compliment BRS since I have a scythe fetish. The anime version one would look strange next to the cannon version BRS in comparison to the anime one which I’m not getting.

Though they sound similar, just so y’all know, the word is “Complement”, and not “compliment”.
“Something that completes”.
